The Furnace needs materials, but the real problem is fuel hot enough for magical forging. Our best chance out here is with the Scrats in Wolfswood. Some of the tougher ones carry a Volatile Liquid.

Their camp sits behind heavy gates, though. You’ll need Dynamite to get in.

The northwest Vault Crash pulses with Spirit magic. I am certain it holds another kind of Ashenclaw Rune, though reaching it will require a bit of exploration.

The Vault lies deep within the Fume Pits. The area is sealed off and covered in poisonous gas. You will need to find some way to survive the fumes. I do not know what the Scrats are doing there, only that the place is deadly.

I cannot help you get inside, but perhaps one of the local Scrats can. They are selfish, scheming creatures, but that also makes them easy to bargain with. Find one willing to talk.

It is almost certain the Ashenclaw Rune of Divine Binding is now within the Scrat Warforge. Unfortunately, the gates are too heavily fortified for a direct assault.

The schematic lists many components, but two will be difficult to acquire: the Scrat Transmitter and the Scrat Paw.

The Scrat Transmitter can likely be taken from that strange machine the Scrats drive around on tracks. I have seen a similar device mounted on its roof.

The pawprint is less pleasant. We will need the paw of a high-ranking Scrat. According to the schematic, the gates only open when the paw is pressed against the device. It must be some sort of dark magic.

I reckon I know how to put the Ashenclaw Furnace to use.

When me people fought the Voidborne, we forged a Rune Of Banishment. Fine runes. Strong enough to banish the lesser Void creatures bound to gates, relics, and other cursed things.

But first, we'll need the furnace burnin' again. The hard part'll be lightin' it. It was kindled with the breath of a great dragon, and we've got nothin' close. Our best chance is a Searing Flask and the strongest Scrat Power Core ye can find. If there's one powerful enough, it'll be in the rocket they're buildin' at the Scraplands. The rest of the materials should be easier.
