The Furnace needs materials, but the real problem is fuel hot enough for magical forging. Our best chance out here is with the Scrats in Wolfswood. Some of the tougher ones carry a Volatile Liquid.

The northwest Vault Crash pulses with Spirit magic. I am certain it holds another kind of Ashenclaw Rune, though reaching it will require a bit of exploration.

The Vault lies deep within the Fume Pits. The area is sealed off and covered in poisonous gas. You will need to find some way to survive the fumes. I do not know what the Scrats are doing there, only that the place is deadly.

I cannot help you get inside, but perhaps one of the local Scrats can. They are selfish, scheming creatures, but that also makes them easy to bargain with. Find one willing to talk.
